What should I do if my electrics keep tripping?
Repeated tripping usually means there is a fault or overload. It is best to switch off appliances and have it checked rather than repeatedly resetting the breaker.
How much does an electrician cost?
Costs vary depending on the work. We provide clear pricing before starting. For smaller jobs, this is usually a fixed price. Larger works are quoted in detail.
Do you charge a call out fee?
Yes. Our standard callout is £180 for the first hour. Full details of what this includes can be found on our How We Work page.
Do you provide quotes before starting work?
Yes. All work is quoted and agreed before we begin. If anything changes, we will discuss and approve it with you first.
What is an EICR?
An EICR is a report that checks the safety and condition of your electrical installation. It highlights any issues and confirms whether the system is safe.
Do landlords need an EICR?
Yes. Landlords are legally required to have a valid EICR carried out at least every five years.
What happens if an EICR is unsatisfactory?
We will explain what needs to be corrected and provide a clear quote to carry out the necessary remedial work.
Do you install consumer units?
Yes. We install modern consumer units that meet current safety standards and provide full certification.
Are you NICEIC registered?

A recent example
A recent callout in Mayfair came in as repeated tripping in a luxury retail unit just before opening hours.
Our engineer attended, traced the issue back to a fault on a lighting circuit, and resolved it on the first visit. The store was able to open on time without disruption.
The client received a written report the same morning, pictures along with a clear note on what had caused the fault and what to keep an eye on going forward.
